hi. i’m kaifi.

snapshot of the author

yes, that’s me.

people also call me sahil.

i’m a cybersecurity specialist, among a bunch of other things.

from documenting my journey of a 16-hour screen time addiction to intentional digital living, i help people reclaim their attention from algorithms, ai slop, and digital manipulation.

i’m also trying to bridge the gap between privacy and user experience, while trying to make sense of the world with my writing.

i also happen to be a polyglot, and i have an immense love for learning about new cultures.

i mainly pen down about privacy, technology, internet culture, and building a life that serves you, not platforms.

currently: building cybersecurity tools, learning in public, resisting the dead internet. also trying to manage a multitude of projects.

previously: i quit social media for 18 months. here’s what actually happened.

what should you expect?

expect weekly to bi-weekly analyses from me on living authentically in a broken internet, alongside some personal observations about the digital world. some personal essays, some satire, but most rooted with the truth.

some posts will challenge you. some will show my failures. everything will be honest.

the truth doesn’t sell, but that’s something i’m willing to sell regardless.

i write for myself first — and if it helps you, i’ve just hit two birds with one stone.

hope you have a great rest of the day as you read this.
